Hello at last … Hele and I have been enjoying some quiet time at home since Easter recuperating and getting ready for the next series of concerts. We spent a nice week at Burrum Heads (with Chloe the cat) and Hele celebrated a milestone birthday with family and friends earlier this month.
As some of you were aware, I had a bit of a health scare at the end of last year and have been waiting for my specialist’s report this month before making definite plans. The good news is I have the all clear so look out here I come!!!
The Hartwood Campfires and Country Music Festival was hugely successful at Easter which made all the effort beforehand well worthwhile. Over a thousand people camped on the property, most of them taking advantage of staying for the week enjoying the bush and making new friends.
The artists were all excellent over the weekend right to the end when Terry Gordon and Wally the Worker brought the house down with their comedy routine. Next year’s line up is now posted on the Website.
While being at home I have been working in the studio on another compilation CD as we are deleting some of the earlier CDs. This new CD will have up to 6 new songs on it as well. We will advise when it is ready.

Some exciting news … Peter Horan and I will be in concert together for the first time in Tamworth during the Country Music Festival for one show only at the Town Hall. This will be on Monday, 23rd January at 2pm. Tickets will be available from the Tourist Information Centre. Pete and I will be touring together through the New England area in January and North Queensland in July 2006.
At the moment bookings are being finalized for my solo concert tour of the Riverina and North Coast of NSW and I am presently investigating the possibility of a series of concerts in WA for later this year or next year.
Hope to see you somewhere soon …
Paul
